IFFR 2011

Today I went to the last International Film Festival Rotterdam-day of this year. But not as a visitor, no! As a volunteer. I never thought "work" could be so much fun. Hihi!
I've watched 3 movies for nothing. Blue Valentine, Zephyr and last but not least; below a minor success. I just could not resist sharing this one with!

"A man stays alone with his children in a half demolished house in the middle of a desolate field. His wife has just been killed by a granade in a military combat. He is expecting a new attack. Instead a wandering caravan of Circus Fantasticus stops by the house. They bring along the dying director of the circus. Is it possible for anything beautiful to happen in a landscape of war and death? Can life go on? Is it possible to realize that death does not exist?"

It is hard to believe, but a film without speaking CAN be really awesome!
